Here’s How Some Clients Benefitted From Using Our “Tech Tool Decode’ Consultancy Service
Case Study 1: Irresponsible Support
Here’s how our human evaluator stopped a client from buying a dysfunctional artificial intelligence (AI) powered email marketing platform.
Client “ZzZ” was on the verge of placing the buy order on an AI-powered email marketing platform “DeaD”. Having heard of “Tech Tool Decode”, ZzZ contacted us for a 2nd opinion.
Our human evaluator put DeaD through its paces for two intense weeks.
One of the many aspects we tested was DeaD’s customer support – (a) how responsive it was (b) the quality of support.
To check that, our human evaluator tried to re-direct the email newsletter to a custom domain. We made the necessary changes in CNAME record as required by DeaD. Yet, nothing happened.
DeaD Support was contacted on a Friday evening. First response was – we do not work over the week-end. That was the 1st red flag.
On Monday, when DeaD’s office “opened”, Support replied to our ticket by repeating the same instructions: To re-direct to your custom domain, make changes in the CNAME in the following manner….
2nd red flag: DeaD Support had either not read our ticket or did not understand English.
Our human evaluator found some other missteps in the AI-powered DeaD, too. Overall, the quality of the email platform and its templates left much to be desired.
We presented our report to client ZzZ, who decided to abandon the idea of buying DeaD and opted for a much better email platform instead, saving themselves a lot of headaches in the process.

Case Study 2: The AI-Powered Chatbot Debacle
Our client, a new e-commerce platform, was about to invest heavily in an AI-powered chatbot to enhance customer service. The chatbot, “Chatty,” promised 24/7 support and instant resolutions.
However, our evaluation revealed a different story. Chatty struggled with basic queries, often providing irrelevant or inaccurate information. Its inability to understand context and nuances led to frustrated customers and increased support tickets.
Furthermore, Chatty’s integration with the company’s CRM was flawed, resulting in data inconsistencies and delayed responses.
By exposing these issues, we helped the client avoid a costly mistake and focus on developing a chatbot that truly meets their customers’ needs.

Case Study 3: AI-Driven Recruitment Tool Mismatch
A tech startup was on the brink of implementing an AI-powered recruitment tool to streamline its hiring process. The tool, “HireBestFast,” claimed to identify top talent with unmatched accuracy.
Our evaluation uncovered significant biases in HireBestFast’s candidate ranking system. The tool consistently favored candidates from certain educational backgrounds and geographic locations, limiting the candidate pool and potentially missing out on qualified individuals.
Additionally, HireBestFast struggled to accurately assess candidates with unconventional resumes or those from non-traditional educational backgrounds.
By highlighting these issues, we helped the startup avoid a costly and potentially discriminatory hiring process.
Don’t let AI bias derail your hiring strategy.
Case Study 4: The AI-Powered Sales Tool That Wasn’t
A B2B sales team was considering an AI-powered sales CRM to boost their productivity. The tool, “SalesNoSurge,” promised to identify high-potential leads and automate sales processes.
Our assessment revealed that SalesNoSurge had difficulty accurately predicting deal closure rates and often recommended low-quality leads. The tool’s automation features were also limited, requiring significant manual intervention.
By uncovering these shortcomings, we prevented the sales team from wasting valuable resources on a subpar tool and helped them focus on building stronger customer relationships.
